POLICE RECRUIT EXERCISE PROGRAM (PREP)

The Police Recruit Exercise Program (PREP) is a 4 week intensive program designed to provide participants with an opportunity to practice and improve the key physical fitness competencies required of a Queensland Police Service (QPS) applicant and recruit.
The Beep Test is included in each session at no additional charge and individual results can be recorded and signed off as part of your QPS application.
All sessions have an emphasis on improving the following current Queensland Police Service (QPS) Recruit physical competencies:
- Beep Test
- Skeletal Test
- Dummy Drag
- Obstacle Course
- The 'Triple' (Beep Test/Obby/Dummy Drag - completed on week 2 and 4 of PREP for comparative score)
Participants are also provided with a weight training program designed to improve strength levels for the specific physical requirements of a Queensland Police Service Recruit.
FEES & INFO
Sessions are held each Saturday from 3pm to 4.30pm at the Redcliffe PCYC, Klingner Road, Kippa-Ring
Cost is $150 (plus PCYC membership if applicable) for non boot camp members or $95 for boot camp members.
